{laura&bernie} engaged! – 6.22.21
Hello again! I hope everyone’s been enjoying this fantastic weather! Not too hot but finally summer mood. Wedding season is beginning to kick into gear, which means that I get to flex my creative muscles with some gorgeous engagement shoots first! To start us off this fine June, we have Laura and Bernie (who’s wedding you’re going to also see up here within just a few days!) to grace the blog this morning!
We shot at Dow Gardens and my inspiration for this place started right out the front door. This place has small nooks and crannies that I could probably shoot all day in one space without even seeing 90% of the rest (Although we made some great ground cover on the gorgeous trail! These two were lovely and up for trying all the fun goofy things I asked them do do, including acting like a dinosaur and a quick request for Bernie to now channel his inner Jeff Goldblum. Spoiler alert, he rocked it.
Anyway, here’s only a small fraction of the good stuff we shot – it was incredibly hard to choose images for this preview! Catch you all soon this Sunday for the grand celebration of your marriage!!
{haley+mike} – 5/2/21 – michigan maternity photographer
Hello all again! It was a fabulous 80 degree day out there today and I got to do one of my most favorite things in this entire world in the gorgeous weather – shoot! And what a fun shoot this was. You may remember Haley and mike form their wedding way back in 2018 (wait wait wait, who said time was allowed to go so fast!? that felt like yesterday). Well, the time has come for their next step – a family! When Haley asked me to shoot their maternity photos I may or may not have done a yelp audibly in excitement. These two are so fun to work with and make my job so easy. This little one is coming to this world so soon and she’s going to have the best parents!
We shot at Haley’s parents house just south Ann Arbor and oh boy I need to stop talking now and just post these images. I am SO excited to edit these and for all my upcoming shoots this season – it feels so good to get out again. Now check out this girls adorable baby bump!
